Existing structures in Lichfield Street were refurbished with rendered external wall insulation to create low maintenance student accommodation. The ProRend EIFS system is finihed with ProRend Colourtex render, that can be custom-coloured to match or complement other buildings. The development of the rundown structure resulted in 157 student bed spaces. SAS provided advice on bringing the existing structure up to meet building regulations for both insulation and fire compliance.
